We spend our lives waiting for God to move His hand, just like how Habakkuk decided to wait on God from the watch tower. But perhaps if we look close enough at the details of our everyday lives, we will already see His handiwork. Miracles, we may call them. This blog is a listing of the things I have asked for, and were given; stuff I have sought, and found; and doors I have knocked upon, and have been opened.

One Tough Fight

2017 was one tough fight at work. Our revenues and margins were way south of our budget up to the middle of the year. But we finally caught up before the year closed.

It was exhausting, it was gut-wrenching, and it was surely a lot of sleepless nights. It was a lot of thinking, and strategizing, and coaxing people to rally behind the plan we had in place. When the smoke finally settled down at the close of the year, I realized one thing. What carried us through the tough times were the prayers we murmured in the heat of the battle, during the tight turns and after the storms. It was the calm that lulled me to sleep. It was the bond that allowed us to work together constructively. It was the miracle that we needed. It works at work.
